I turn slow, manual business processes into fast, reliable automation. As the sole IT engineer at iBuild Building Solutions, I connect AI models to the business's CRM, email and marketing systems through API and MCP integrations, and I also own the servers, code deployment through GitHub, Microsoft 365, security and the move to the cloud. I'm currently leading the rollout of AI assistants across the business so every team can automate its own repetitive work. AWS Solutions Architect certified, with a Master of Cyber Security from RMIT.

How I Automate
Follow a lead through the system

This is the lead pipeline I built at iBuild. Click each stage, or press play, to see what happens from the moment an enquiry arrives.

Before: over 2 hours of daily admin. After: under 5 minutes.

Omnichannel Lead Deduplication Pipeline

−35% duplicate leads

The Problem

Leads arrived from email, web forms and phone with no way to catch duplicates before they reached the sales team. Reps cross-checked new leads by hand, and historical leads had never been checked at all.

Impact

Reduced duplicate leads by 35% and replaced manual review with near-instant automated checks, while closing a data-quality gap in historical records.

What I Built

  • A 9-criteria automated duplicate-detection engine inside Vtiger CRM, checking email, phone and contact records against each other in real time.
  • Logic that never matches a lead against itself and shows the exact reason for a match, so staff get an actionable result instead of a black box.
  • Extended the same checks to historical records that had never been reviewed under the old manual process.
  • Scaled it into an omnichannel pipeline: Gmail → Gemini AI classification → Google Sheets → Make.com → Vtiger, so every lead is triaged and checked as it arrives.

LLM Integrations & AI Assistant Rollout

Business-wide

The Problem

Staff spent time on repetitive tasks such as sorting inbound emails and screening spam enquiries, and there was no shared, safe way for teams to use AI in their own work.

Impact

AI now handles first-pass email classification and enquiry screening, and teams across the business are being given AI assistants to automate their own repetitive work.

What I Built

  • LLM-powered classification of inbound emails, extracting names and enquiry types and routing them into the CRM.
  • AI screening of web enquiries for spam before they create CRM records.
  • API and MCP integrations connecting AI models to the CRM, email, marketing and event systems.
  • Leading the rollout of shared AI assistant access across business teams, including setup and showing staff how to automate their own tasks.

21-Day AI Automation Challenge

2 hrs → 5 min

The Problem

Lead processing, sales-agent assignment and project setup were three separate manual processes taking over 2 hours of admin every day, with no link between the CRM and the project tools (Basecamp, Trello).

Impact

Cut over 2 hours of daily manual admin to under 5 minutes of automated execution, delivered solo within 21 days.

What I Built

  • A two-stage pipeline: stage 1 checks every incoming lead for duplicates; stage 2 runs only on signed contracts, creating Basecamp projects and Trello cards with AI-generated summaries.
  • A location-aware assignment system recommending the best-suited sales agent by proximity and current workload.
  • Diagnosed and resolved a critical AI-gateway security block that was silently stopping the Basecamp integration, redesigning the architecture under time pressure.

Automated Cost Estimation Engine

600+ priced line items

The Problem

Quoting a home build meant looking up prices by hand across 101 designs and 6 states, which was slow and prone to pricing errors.

Impact

A complete, accurate quote, including delivery, now takes a few clicks instead of a manual lookup-and-calculate process.

What I Built

  • A production pricing engine (600+ priced line items across 101 designs × 6 states) inside Vtiger CRM.
  • Transaction-safe quote generation, so a failed step never leaves a half-created quote.
  • Automated PDF output, ready to send the moment the quote is generated.
  • A delivery-cost estimator using a zone-based distance model, built into the same quoting workflow.

Sales Territory & Performance Analytics

500+ live projects

The Problem

Sales leadership had no real-time view of which territories were converting or how each salesperson was performing. Reporting was manual and ad hoc.

Impact

Leadership now has instant, always-current visibility of territory performance and conversion rates, without manual data pulls.

What I Built

  • An analytics engine calculating lead, contact and project density and conversion rates within radius zones (20 km metro / 50 km regional) across 500+ active projects.
  • A real-time Salesperson Performance dashboard widget inside the CRM.
  • Views by salesperson and by state, with daily, monthly, yearly and year-to-date filters.

Multi-Tenant Security Monitoring Platform

−30% false positives
Work experience · Logic Weave

The Problem

Client environments needed real-time threat detection without cross-tenant data exposure, and noisy alerts were slowing down incident response.

Impact

Cut false positives by 30%, so the team could investigate real incidents faster across several client environments.

What I Built

  • A multi-tenant Wazuh SIEM on AWS processing 50,000+ security log events a day.
  • Custom detection rules and dashboards tracking AWS IAM activity and EC2 security events.
  • Tuned alerting and implemented RBAC with tenant-isolated dashboards so each client's data stayed separate.

Multi-Tenant AWS Security Monitoring (Wazuh SIEM)

Personal project

The Problem

Monitoring security logs across several AWS environments without cross-tenant exposure needs a self-hosted SIEM architecture built and tested from the ground up.

Impact

A working proof of concept showing enterprise-style log isolation and monitoring across two AWS accounts.

What I Built

  • Deployed Wazuh on Linode to centralise logs from two separate AWS accounts.
  • Enforced tenant isolation with OpenSearch Document Level Security and custom RBAC dashboards.
  • Audited IAM policies for least privilege and built automated SMTP alerting.
  • Ran a full server migration and recovery exercise to test resilience.

Three-Tier Cloud Architecture & Automated Deployment

Personal project

The Problem

A production-style application needs its web, application and database layers isolated and load-balanced, not running on a single exposed server.

Impact

A fully isolated, fault-tolerant three-tier architecture that mirrors real production cloud deployments.

What I Built

  • A multi-AZ VPC with public, private and isolated database subnets.
  • An Application Load Balancer with Route 53 routing and health-checked failover.
  • An RDS MySQL backend behind a Flask application tier and Apache frontend.
  • Layered security groups and a bastion host for secure SSH access, with Bash bootstrap scripts for provisioning.

Risk Analysis & Business Continuity Planning

Personal project

The Problem

Organisations need structured frameworks for assessing risk and planning for disruption, rather than reacting after something goes wrong.

Impact

A complete risk and business continuity framework aligned with ISO 27001 and NIST-style standards.

What I Built

  • Quantitative and qualitative risk assessments using risk matrix modelling.
  • Evaluation of mitigation options against cost-benefit trade-offs.
  • Business Impact Analyses and incident response plans.
